CapFields has submitted its transitional plan to a net-zero emission of Greenhouse gas emissions (GHC) to the SBTi services. This plan has been assessed against the SME Criteria Assessment indicators and after careful review was approved in February 2025. This other CapFields' engagement reinforces its position as an active leader within the CSR companies of the Luxembourg market place (Corporate social responsibility). This agreement obliges us to a close monitoring of our corporate practices in order to drastically reduce our carbon emissions with a target of -42% in 2030 (scope 1).
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis. The SBTi is incorporated as a charity, with a subsidiary which hosts the target validation services. SBTi partners are CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the We Mean Business Coalition, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
