We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with significant experience in banking consultancy to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in understanding user requirements, drafting specifications, and supporting the implementation of various technical enhancements within our financial services environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking consultancy related to IT projects or project management.
- Proven track record in performing needs analysis in collaboration with business stakeholders, as well as drafting detailed specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs analysis to identify business requirements.
- Draft functional specifications and detailed requirements documentation.
- Engage in analysis meetings with users, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Organize and document meeting notes and action plans.
- Oversee the progress of IT developments and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Create test documentation, including test plans and strategic testing approaches.
- Conduct functional testing and quality assurance to validate deliverables.
- Develop user guides and provide training as necessary.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Trading & post execution support activities (including Order Management systems)
- In-depth knowledge of foreign exchange markets, money markets, and OTC derivatives.
- Familiarity with front office and back office trading activities.
- Advanced knowledge with Front office software (Finastra Kondor+).
The applicant should be capable of quickly adapting to the role and working autonomously.
Other expectations:
- Languages: Proficient in English and French.
- Desired Expertise: Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA.
- Basic experience with database management and SQL (Oracle, PL/SQL, Sybase).
- Awareness of Linux operating systems.

- Drafting and maintaining functional specifications.

- Coordinating and overseeing testing processes.
