Example of Business Case

A Fund Service Provider (FSP) was looking for the opportunity to professionalize its approach with an improvement of its activity of Hedge Fund administration. The particular matter was to focus efforts on the implementation of a new fund whose structure was too complex (Pooling, Multiclass, OTC, etc.).

CapFields was thus appointed to coordinate the whole project. The stages were:

• Fund structure analysis and GAP analysis vs internal capacities (operations and IT systems);
• Definition and approval of necessary reporting for the fund manager;
• Interfacing the new deployed system with the outlying activities (Cash & Title Reconciliation, etc.);
• Definition of operational procedures;
• Staff training.
